I’m Dana. I’m a pastor, I’m married to a pastor, and together
we are raising our 3 young boys.
Because there are so many things to attend to each day, I’m grateful for a surprising respite offered by a common task: hanging out the laundry. I love the easy rhythm and routine of clipping my boys’ shirts to the line. The sunbeams dappling across our sheets as they flap in the wind. The clean, fresh scent infusing the fibers of our towels.
Instead of dreading all that laundry on the line, I’ve grown to love this time that’s just mine. The sacred time gave birth to this blog, a collection of stories, thoughts, and prayers that often take up residence in my mind and heart while I’m out communing with the clothesline.
I hope you enjoy!
